My daughter likes her room very cold but the central A/C in our house is old and inefficient. This unit is perfect her room is COLD. She has complete control and is very happy with it. And it doesnt make a lot of noise either.

My old a/c died and I needed a new one. I decided to buy this one as Ive had several LG appliances and they do not disappoint. It is a compact size and made to fit into small spaces. I am a small female and had no trouble carrying this up the stairs and moving it around. It was very easy to set up. It took about ten minutes for assembling the window exhaust. When I turned it on I was hit with an artic blast of frigid air. I got the smallest unit and was worried it was too small for my bedroom. In fifteen minutes this had not only my bedroom but half of my upstairs hallway freezing cold. This is probably the coldest and most powerful air conditioner I have ever had. I dont have any problem with the noise level of this as others have said. It just sounds like a white noise machine. It does double duty by drowning out city sounds like barking dogs lawnmowers construction and loud cars. However I have noticed that I cant use this when I watch tv because it really muffles the sound. I liked the remote I got with it as well. All my old a/c remotes had no signal strength. I would have to get out of bed and point the remote directly at the unit. This I can just aim it in the general area of the air conditioner to change the settings. Overall Im very happy with my purchase.

Bought this for part time use in South Florida. Set it up in bedroom which faces West and it works like a charm. Easy setup works better than the 12000 BTU AC that it replaced. It is quieter that my Central AC. Nice and compact easy to store. Good product.

In fairness we own Two units one purchased in 2021 the second in 2021. Older unit works great no issues however takes a while to cool a bedroom. Learned if you use the Dehumidifier setting vs the Cool function the room feels colder sooner and more consistently. Now the newer 2021 unit has been an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. Newer unit worked ok for 2 months but then kept shutting off because water reservoir was full. Would empty and get maybe 2-3 hours and would shut off again. The older 2020 unit never did that. Then one day the newer 2021 unit didnt shut off and flooded the bedroom and soaked the carpet. Never used the newer 2021 unit again and moved the older 2020 unit to the bedroom. It took days to dry the carpet out but no issues since swapping the older 2020 unit in. Be careful watch for water and if turn off frequently and if does do not use and return or get a refund.

Really does a great job at cooling my small room quickly I only keep it on the low 70s and on low fan speed so Im sure it can cool an even bigger room. Does not make much noise as well. Highly recommend.

But about 2 months into using it in my bedroom in a small trailer 12x12 or less it cooled it down enough to where you were comfortable or even cold. Absolutely loved it. LG has always had quality products. But one night after midnight it pretty much blew up or something. The breaker box clicked off and woke us up from there on out the condenser or motor wouldnt kick on even after following all reboot instructions. Then came the harsh reality that I live in the middle of nowhere and repair services are not in my area. This goes towards the argument the humans should have The Right to Repair the products they buy and own. But on an upside LG support was very nice and it was very easy to report the issue and Im currently waiting for LG to let me know if theyll refund me or not. Hopefully they do because it has a year warranty but its only been a few months. All in all LG is still one my favorite products to buy.

Obvious statement first this is an A/C unit that sits entirely inside your home so account for the noise that inherently has to exist. There is also a recommendation that you allow for 20 inches of clearance between walls on all sides for maximum ventilation so that is something to account for. I think its a great product and does an excellent job of cooling a medium-sized space I love the portability. Once the need passes and we enter winter that thing can go right into storage rather than being a constant presence in the window. The small ventilation need within the window space is far better than comparable window units would require. Using this for a bonus room that doesnt stay as cool as the rest of the upstairs is a great fit

It works fine in my small room but at lowest fan speed is noisier than larger capacity Honeywell units I have in other bedrooms. The drain plug leaked the first time I used it because it wasnt properly tightened at the factory.

We really needed one of these especially this summer with the unseasonable heat in Colorado and our condo didnt have air conditioning. We installed it in our master bedroom and it was very easy to fit with our window and it came with an installation kit. The unit was bigger than we expected but it was fine for our space. We got the 6000 BTUs/hour model for a 250 sq foot size room and it was perfect. My husband loves that it has a handy remote control and that it also has a dehumidifying option not that we need that on CO.

This portable LG Air Conditioner is great. I cant believe how quiet and light weight this unit is. Its very powerful and efficient. The air blows cold as ice and can make a large room comfortably cool. This air conditioner is equipped with three mode settings cool mode for powerful cooling and dehumidifying on hot days. In fan mode the fan circulates the air in the room. The water clean up is easy and simple. I can roll this unit from room to room easily and the window vent kit wasnt difficult to install. The display controls are easy to see and use the remote that it comes with is super handy as well. I love the LED lights and how I can control the brightness. I would love to have more of these for the house. This is the best A/C unit I have ever owned.

This LG Electronics - LP0621WSR Portable AC is such a GREAT A/C. I like how much info is described on the packaging and how EASY I was able to get this A/C setup and quickly start using it. There are soo many great features and options to choose from. I can now enjoy a cool bedroom with comfort as this LG Portable A/C has quickly cooled my room down. Im impressed again at how much info is shown and how easy setup was its not as heavy as I thought and my window fits the hose and window cover. I am now a FAN of portable A/Cs thanks to LG and ill be purchasing 2 more for other areas in my home. I noticed how quickly the room cooled and it even cooled my 2nd bedroom close by and the hallway as well. The color and design is very noticeable in a good way and doesnt take up too much space and it truly does fit perfectly in the corner by my window AWESOME space spacer with lots of cooling power.

I got the portable LG AC/Humidifier for a family room type extension in my house which the central AC doesnt reach. I looked for a portable unit like this as I didnt want to deal with installing a window unit and sealing it during the winter. The installation of the LG unit was a breeze I hooked up one end of the included vent hose to LG unit and the other to the window with the included installation kit. While it takes a little assembly much easier than mounting a window unit. The trade-off is it takes up space in your room vs a window unit but I didnt mind. I then plugged in the unit to a normal115V outlet and turned it on The controls and display are easy to use and read. There is a modeselect button Cool Dry Humidity Fan and up/down arrows to set the desired temperature. There are also other features like manual fan speed and a timer and more. The unit cools down the room quickly and not all that noisy but keep in mind it is an AC and none are totallyquiet. The unit also comes with a remote which I dont use all that much but can see the feature would be great in a bedroom so you can control the unit from your bed. The unit is on wheels making it easy to position and move room to room if needed. One comment on energy consumption the AC has a low energy rating CEER of 6.5. I cant say Im expert but this unit does seem to be a little less energy efficient thansome other options if thats a driving force in your decision to buy. However overall Im pleased with the unit and would recommend.

Beware of your floor. No auto-shutoff when full. Will damage your flooring. Unit has barely been used doesnt work as well as in wall unit and apparently is not self evaporating as it overflows and then leaks out. Have already had to spend an extensive amount of time cleaning up after this unit and now have a persistent smell in the room from it leaking into the carpet.

Bought this unit as a backup to central A/C. Set it up in time to use it with my generator during a power outage. The only issue was the intake seal that mounts in the window. The weatherstripping does not fit well on the intake and causes it not to fit and stay properly especially with the weight of the hose causing it to tilt . Im working on an aftermarket fix.

I am hoping that LG can give a definitive answer to the following question regarding the exact unit Model #LP0621WSR. Is this unit meant to turn off both the compressor and the fan at some point. It seems I wake up in the morning and the fan is no longer running. The unit is cooling but it does not work like my other 2 LG units where the fan is always running. This unit is acting like it has been designed to turn completely off sometimes. I have a warranty claim started as it is only one month old but I am beginning to believe it is working as designed.

I brought the LG portable ac unit a month ago and I am very happy with this purchase. I placed the LG unit in my daughters room which is 12x10 sq ft. and it cools the room very fast. Also I love the this unit because it is portable and light. I can move it at least 3 ft from the window so it is not confined to one area in a room. I love the remote as well. I placed the remote on the wall and I only have to press the on and off button. So I do not have to worry about misplacing my remote. LG portable ac unit is the best because I do not have to remove my window screen and it is very convenient. If I want to move it to the next room I can just with a few adjustments.

I purchased this in May 2021 -the automatic shut off for full tank does not work - FL light doesnt come on just keeps running - called LG for support help and was told to just run a garden hose to drain - keep hose connected to AC and run out the window or in a bucket. This information wasnt provided in the manual that you needed to do this.

I bought this in June. It worked for a month then randomly stopped. I processed a refund request through LG because they dont do repairs anymore due to COVID. By the time my refund request had been approved and I had ordered a new one this one randomly started working again. The LG customer support wasnt great either.

I use the unit for my ~300 sqft master bedroom and have been impressed. The unit has some neat features too. The cool air can be set to blow in one direction or the unit can oscillate the output with moving directional blades. You can adjust brightness of the panel so there is no glow to bother sleep. The shut off timer is great too. Installation was relatively fool proof with the kit that is included.

This is in a room about 2/3rds the size this unit is rated for. My son says it kicks butt. You obviously have the advantage of not having the unit hanging out the window. His room is on the front of the house. He is not a mechanical person and he got it going himself. Instal must be easy.
