Good but disppointed with white powder

I bought it 8 months ago love almost everthing the only complain is that the water Water/ice dispenser opening keep dropping white powder in large amount to the point that I have to wash the plate under the water/ice dispenser twice a day with soap. I was told by the customer service this powder comes from my hard water source in my area they can do nothing to help me So disappointed

Weve had our LG refrigerator for about six months and are pleased with our choice. The unit has performed well and weve found the design to be functional and flexible. The center flex drawer is particularly useful. We had a minor issue with our ice maker and LG support was proactive friendly and quickly took ownership of the issue.

A beautiful refrigerator

We love the features of the fridge and the Wi-Fi informs us of filter changes when needed. The easy access door is where the milk and coffee creamer live easy access drawer keeps deli meats and other quick access items. The drawer freezer is easy to sort through. My complaints would be that we have a lot of condiments that used to live on the inside door but now take a shelf up. You dig thru it looking for something and the door beeps at you because its been open too long adding pressure to you not finding something. Our craft ice maker is awesome and a bragging point it has quit working but the fridge let us know and LG scheduled a tech and a new part within in a week at no cost.

Metal shards are in the craft ice

I bought fridge at Warners Stellian. I told them about shards of metal in the ice on the 2nd day. They said sorry at least its under warranty and theyd try and call in service and see if LG will do anything. This is a serious product safety issue that no one is taking seriously.

Bought all LG products for our new kitchen: super excited about the counter depth fridge and even though you give up space for counter depth it looks amazing. However the piece on the door the closes to close the gap on the French doors stopped closeing after just a few months. Someone came out to fix it but it is broken again and now that the fridge is over a year old the warranty is done and LG will not take care of it even though it was a problem before the warranty was up. Very poor customer service and very disappointing for a fridge that costs what it does. Expected more from LG

Roomy and I love the features

Ive only had this a couple of months but Im very pleased with it. Its great for some of those oversized pans and tall pitchers. I absolutely love my third door It makes it so easy to grab and go. It also keeps the grandkids from standing in front of the fridge with door open looking for drinks and snacks. Im also a huge fan of the two bottom freezers. Im short and this is a godsend. My only complaint was one of the gaskets didnt seal properly when I first got it. A technician came out and fixed everything and now it works beautifully.

My dream fridge

Ive been wanting this for awhile. Finally bought it on sale in June 2022. I love the dark stainless. Its next to another stainless steel double oven and it blends in. They seem to reflect each other. Hubby lives the door-in-door and so do I. Its actually room The dual temp can be fridge or freezer slide out compartment under the fridge is used for all our lunch and breakfast items. I like that I can change the temperature to do a fast cool down of sodas. I still have to get used to the slide out freezer but its a matter of organizing. Never having had a freezer like this I am still getting used to stacking differently. I bought some storage bins so I decant into them and can stack them so its neater and organized. I love being able to put pizzas in the shallow freezer slide out. The craft ice balls are always a winner when we serve drinks. The door dispenses ice cubes and water. Personally Im fine without one because I hear they are the most likely thing to stop working in any brand across the board. Plus you have to empty every few days if you dont use it up. Its very easy to do that and it is nice for other people to get ice without asking me where my ice cubes are. So I do wish there was a water dispenser but not an Ice dispenser. The refrigerator Is very roomy and I have a counter depth fridge. It is easy to organize I can open either door by itself without having to open the other. Overall Im very happy with my dream refrigerator.

Had this for over a year now. Been great and the craft ice maker is amazing. Incredible how cold it keeps everything. The flex drawer is super handy for soda wine or anyhting that needs refrigeration... or just flip it to a freezer and you have way more flexible dual use space than you would have ever thought. Great features like the InstaView door make is very easy to grab a quick gallon on milk juice or whatever you use a lot of. The craft ice maker in-door dispenser for water or ice handy air and water filters flex drawer and WiFi monitoring make this a real no brainer Ive highly recommended it along with all my LG appliances. Glad some of my friends and neighbors are enjoying theirs now as much as I do

Worth the $$$ for the right door and craft ice

Our kitchen is a bit old and our counters arent as deep as they may make them these days so I really had to work hard to find a refrigerator that fit in our opening. Does the craft ice near-spheres last longer? Yes plus its fun. Do we use the open the outside door on the right every day. This is a NICE refrigerator. I take it that its a bit shallow inside because it is only a 23 cu ft. refrigerator which is what we needed. I have no real complaints but if you put something very flat on top of the middle drawer it may slide off into the are behind the drawer small arms and wooden yardsticks are very handy in this case. The only other thing is that I wish we could adjust is the closing speed of the left door it can build up some momentum and slam shut if you just take your hand off of it. These are minor things for us the daily things all work great and its nice looking. Ive recently purchased a dishwasher our old one broke and stove well it was still working but as old as the hills in the same series.

Counter depth

After fourth deliver first 3 damaged from box and carrier finally received a good one. Carrier took doors off to bring to second floor but when put doors back on didnt align doors so now they need to come back to adjust. Need to micro manage even deliveries of expensive items. Shouldnt have to but they rush to get done early.

I have had this 30 cu ft. Instaview since December 2021. We are mostly happy with the exception that just 9 months later the craft ice maker went bad. We have found out that this is an ongoing problem with the craft ice makers. It has been difficult to get warranty service. Finally we received the service but the part needed to be ordered. Still waiting.

Doors Not Even Noisy

We moved in Mid July. It keeps the food cold however the doors are very uneven and sometimes it makes a whirring sound that is not the motor. It sounds like a fan trying to work. We reported the noise and thought a repair person could stop it and possibly fix the uneven side by Side doors. We have heard nothing back about anyone coming to fix or look at the problems.

Good refrigerator bad service

Purchased from Costco. Found a big dent in the Insta-view door upon removal of protective film. LG is not able to service the unit even though we are only 60miles fom Portland OR. Not sure what good the 2yr manufacturers warranty will be given this inability to find someone to replace the door. Other comments: Took a full 48hrs to get down to temp probably due to very efficient small compressor. Will undoubtedly save a bunch of electricity especially with door-in-door and ConvertaDrawer. Good capacity for a counterdepth refrigerator. Looks great except for the dent. Expensive but worth it so far.

Pros: Salesperson on Dec. 1st 2021 at Home Depot and once delivered on Feb. 28 2022 the install guys from Home Depot were amazing. Cons: There is a powder residue that is on the tray where you hold your glass for water cubed or crushed ice. This happens daily and I do not know what this powder type substance is and whether or not it is safe to drink. Craft ice stopped working after 3 months. It now has a water leak and the cubed balls fall into the water and then it becomes a sheet of ice useless. I called for warranty and after two hours was scheduled for mid July. Now I have been rescheduled to mid August. Also had to reintroduce myself to warranty after I logged everything into their system upon delivery because they assigned my protection plan to another person. How does this happen? We shall see what happens on my mid August appointment. Needless to say Im not happy to be having issues at 6 months.

Great idea but poor quality icemaker our craft icemaker stopped working the week after the one-year warranty expired. LG did not offer us any break in the price at all. I spent multiple hours on the phone to no avail. Very unhappy with LGs warranty and customer service. They were polite but dont order a craft icemaker there are many many poor reviews I wished I wouldve trusted them dont do what I did.

Not cooling

We bought the refrigerator and it was shipped June 3 2021. It worked great until the end of May 2022 and the refrigerator stopped cooling. The freezer went into overdrive and it looked like it had snowed in my freezer. We notified LG of this and while their customer service has been very nice and friendly we still have no resolution. three weeks later. I keep trying to get a hold of somebody at LG and it is getting very difficult. It was a nice refrigerator while it lasted. However Im glad if it broke at least it broke within the warranty period. I dont know why its still taking so long Refrigerators are sort of a necessity right?
