i had high hopes for this vacuum and it doesn't disappoint on cleaning and battery life very lightweight and powerful. that's what is so disappointing with the overall experience. the canisters (particularly for the clean station) are very flimsy and prone to cracking and breaking. in addition, the clean white plastic handle housing on mine yellowed after only a few months and looks terrible. chat with customer service and not helpful despite still being within warranty. one last ditch effort to call for help today and was transferred to a parts department that was not available on saturdays and dc'd my call. this is not what i expect from samsung products.

there are cheaper cordless stick vacs, and there are a few more powerful stick vacs. but this baby is an exceptional bang for the buck, and is from a great, trusted brand name in consumer electronic goods. this unit is sturdy, powerful, and easy to use. it zips right through the daily cleanup of a house with almost a dozen inside cats and a little dog with ease!

after having this vacuum just over a year it has completely fell apart. the motor came loose and will not reconnect so the vacuum is no good. i have 3 vacuums in my home so it is not over used not that that should be an issue, but even more reason for it to not fall apart after only one years use. very disappointed

This one by Samsung is fantastic. It's very light and easy to clean. I very much appreciate the fact that unlike some other cordless vacuums the battery can be charged separately from the main unit so I did not need to install the mounting system. The charging base is convertible so it can function as either a mounting charger and storage for the vacuum or can be easily reconfigured to be a table top charger for just the battery and the rest of vacuum can be stored in a closet. This system makes it possible to get an extra battery to keep on hand for extra cleaning time if needed. I have found the charge time perfectly adequate for my needs so far. My house is so much cleaner. So easy to grab it and pick up bugs and dog hair as needed!

Now that I've had the vacuum for a little over a month, I thought I'd update my opinion. It's not quite. It does have great suction. It picks up my super shedding dog's hair really well. The mobility of the vacuum head is really nice, too. Battery life still sucks, but all in all it's not as bad as I first thought

I was excited about getting this lightweight cordless vacuum but it stopped working after the first use. I attempted to charge it overnight but the next day after using it for less then 5 minutes it died again. Definitely not worth the price tag.

The vacuum is great. Light, easy to carry around it works great actually. The battery holds only 35-40 min, but charges pretty fast. I didn't have any complaints, but after 6-7 months of use I had to have the brush repaired under warranty. It was not the vacuum that was broken, but still it worries me that after so little use there was a problem and I have 2 months of warranty left. We'll see.

I love this vacuum. I've been using it for a few months now. Its easy to use and more convenient than a typical wired vacuum. Battery lasts around 30-45 minutes of constant use. I would invest in another battery if you have a larger home. Suction at max does a good job of picking up animal hair of rugs and carpet. We have three cats and a dog.

I bought this around Christmas time. I have a smaller area to vacuum and it works pretty well. My only complaint is that you cannot run the vacuum on high for very long. You can literally see the power in the battery fall when it's up on the highest setting. I usually run the vacuum at medium speed and that gives me enough power to vacuum my small apartment.

Definitely doesn't stand up to Dyson. I've been a Dyson owner for about 15 years. I have lived with two or more dogs at all times. Samsung can't compete. I gave it a shot it's an OK vacuum but definitely not for heavy duty anything.
